Author says she just wants Jonathan Plummer ‘out of my f***ing life.’
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, McMillan’s ex-husband Jonathan Plummer has signed a book deal with Simon & Schuster to pen a fictionalized story based on his relationship with McMillan, whose own account of their initial meeting in Jamaica was the blueprint for her novel and film “How Stella Got Her Groove Back.”
Since we last heard from the former couple on “Oprah,” McMillan told the Chronicle that Plummer has filed "bogus bankruptcy papers' from his failed dog-grooming business and left her holding the bag for back taxes on $32,000 in income he didn't disclose to the Internal Revenue Service. When she replied with a "cease and desist' letter, she says, Plummer retaliated with the threat to go public with her phone messages. McMillan says she went to the FBI, but the agency called it a civil matter and wouldn't touch it.
Eventually, the pair filed new restraining orders against each other -- with his accusing her (she says falsely) of threatening "to kill him or have him killed.
Plummer has since taken a job in a hair salon just 10 minutes from McMillan's house. His book, titled "Balancing Act," will be written with former New York Daily News reporter, Karen Hunter, and is scheduled for release this summer.
"A black woman scorned is the worst kind of scorn -- and I've felt it from Terry,' Plummer told the Chronicle."That's why I'm doing this (book) -- to help (black men who have come out of the closet) and to give my spin on things.'
Awhile later, he called the newspaper back and asked: “Do you think you could mention where I work -- the Diablo Beauty Salon in Danville? I could use the clients.'
What an Asshole

GOLDMAN LAWSUIT AGAINST O.J. TOSSED |
Federal judge says it’s out of his jurisdiction.
The father of murder victim Ronald Goldman has lost his bid to sue O.J. Simpson over any monies paid from his unpublished book, "If I Did It."
On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Manuel Real refused to hear the case because it is out of his jurisdiction – the federal Central District of California – and should be filed in Florida state court, he said.
Simpson was found liable in civil court for the grisly murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Goldman, whose father Fred had filed the lawsuit against the former NFL star. Fred Goldman alleged that Simpson used a shell company to conceal an advance he received for a book-and-TV deal to avoid paying the wrongful death judgment. Goldman had sought a court order freezing the money or turning it over to the family.
Jonathan Polak, an attorney for the Goldman family, said the family had not decided whether to appeal Real's decision or take the lawsuit to Florida.
"They got kicked out to the curb," Simpson attorney Yale Galanter said after the hearing.
This is crazy, O.J. ....
