Edward Enninful: A True Fashion Editorial Expert
Reflection- As I laid in bed watching random runway shows on NY's late night fashion focus channel, I could not get off of the high from Fashion Week, (no pun intended). Being in the presence of New York's "elite" and high ranking fashion makers and breakers was very inspiring and surreal. Although I try to attend at least 2 fashion shows every major season, this year I only attended one, but I can actually say I had a great time. Everyone from the models to the celebs to the designers seemed so vulnerable. Veronica Webb, a fashion force to be reckoned with, was so cool and collected. I spoke with her briefly, and she had no airs or pretentiousness about her. It was almost like she wanted to talk with us. Kelly was a doll as usual, posing for the camera's and monotonously answering reiterated questions. That girl was at every show looking fly every time.
I also met a few stylist in the making. I asked a few people what inspired them and they replied with "cornball" responses like, fashion or color, and this one is my favorite, the world. How could one want to style and not know who or what inspires them? Alicia Keys is inspired by Stevie Wonder, John Legend-Sam Cook, Tom Ford-Cher. For all the so-called stylist, check out a legend by the name of Edward Enninful. He should be enough inspiration for anyone in the fashion industry. STAY VAIN!
Above and below are samples of just a few of his nationally renowned and published works of greatness! Check him out.
