Entertainment News: 50 Cent vs. Oprah, Suge Knight, BeBe Moore Campbell & KKKramer

Chump Change: Yet again, 50 Cent Blasts Oprah

It seems that a lot of angry rappers still have issues with Oprah. "Oprah Winfrey is really an Oreo– black on the outside, but white on the inside", according to 50 Cent.
I'm not going to get deep into it, but 50 is talking about how she started with black women's views and now she has been catering to middle-aged white women for so long that she has become white herself -stated in the 2007 Jan of Elle, WHAT!

I sometimes have my issues with Lady "O", but Micheal Jackson actually turned himself into a white women and 50 was nowhere for comment. Why hate on one of the wealthiest women in the world, who just happens to be of African descent? 50 cent's name speaks for itself. Oprah is a recognized billionaire. You be the judge!! We gotta stop hating on each other. Let's hate on trigger-happy cops who continue to shoot and kill young and innocent African Americans. Hate on that!

Big Suge:
He will always be our "D-BO"

In PageSix, Suge calls Snoop a crybaby. In response to the Snoop arrest, Suge states, "Snoop has never been in a real fight. When there's trouble, he runs to the police. He throws up and starts crying."

I don't understand why Suge j
ust can't let it go. Every person in America is scared as hell of him. He knows it, and we know it. I don't blame Snoop for not wanting to go to prison, he's as skinny as crow's foot. What can he really do in prison? Rap his way out of a situation! 1, 2, 3 and to tha fo'... I know that was corny, but it's my blog, I say what I feel

Mel Gibson feels bad for Michael "Kramer" Richards

(NY Daily News, Nov. 30)Michael Richards may still be reeling from public reaction to his racist rant at a comedy club, but he should know he's not alone. Mel Gibson feels his pain.

"I felt like sending Michael Richards a note," Gibson says in an interview in Entertainment Weekly's Dec.8 issue. "I feel really badly for the guy. He was obviously in a state of stress. You don't need to be inebriated to be bent out of shape. But my heart went out to the guy."

Richards, best known as kooky neighbor Kramer on "Seinfeld," has publicly apologized for screaming racial slurs at black audience members who heckled his Nov. 17 act at a Hollywood comedy club.

"They'll probably torture him for a while and then let him go," the "Braveheart" actor said. "I like him." full story

If you ask me, his career is OVER-Michael Richards will forever be known as "Kramer" and the guy that had a racist rant on stage at a comedy club. Stick a fork in him he's DONE!

I have a few words for 50 cent, "Hate is not a good color for you 50" I mean "damn Gina" Oprah is a member of the billionare club and she is one of the most positive BLACK people in the world and we need that. Business is business, 50 cent does his thing and that is to represent thugery (if it is a word) and gangsta to the fullest...that is how he promotes and sells his records, right? Well Oprah does her thing, and I believe it doesn't cater to just suburban white women, it appeals to people who want to expand and inhance there lives. Since Oprah is such an Oreo, then 50 is an Oreo, Timmy Chan's Restrant eggroll, and taco bell burrito too, because (not fact, but just my observation and opinion) if it wasn't for the White,Hispanic,& Asian demographics, who by the way have the income to buy cd's, dvd's, and concert tickets he wouldn't be where he is now. Let's face it, not every black person love/like 50. Don't get me wrong 50 has talent and I like some of his songs, but if he had to depend on just us black folks, he wouldn't have half the money that he has today. Plus didn't "MNM" discover 50 and introduce him to Dr. Dre.

Or maybe I am the only one who feels that way

I really think Oprah should have a forum with these rappers who are upset with her. That would be a very interesting show and it should be live so she cant edit their views. I'm so tired of their comments they should just go at it live on tv. Noelle from the "D"

Speaking about Bebe Campbell, it is sad when anyone dies. But unfortunately, neither the rich, nor the poor can determine the day of their deaths. Still more sadly, we will all be dead for much longer than we will ever be alive. In fact, all the years of all of our lives will not compare to eternity. Therefore, in light of these truths, we ought to concern ourselves more with the hereafter than the here and now--not ignoring the here and now, but giving it its place below the hereafter.
